McLeod Enterprises currently operates 12 Honeytree Early Learning Centers in Southwest Virginia. Founded in Sterling, Virginia in 1974, HoneyTree was moved to Roanoke, Virginia in 1978 where it began in a small rented building serving 40 children. Today, the company is the largest child care provider in Southwest Virginia with 12 convenient locations serving over 1300 children and families.

Honey Tree Early Learning Centers are not just state certified for child care, we meet the more rigorous standards of accreditation established and monitored by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation, an independent third party professional association. With this national accreditation and over 30 years’ service to Roanoke Valley families, HoneyTree Early Learning Centers provide high quality care for children from 6 weeks of age to 12 years.
